Combining the best of both science and nature, this facial uses our newest product line, Sorella. ACNE FACIAL
Acne is the most common skin disease and occurs when oil mixed with dead skin cells clogs follicles, leading to the growth of bacteria. Perfect for pesky pustules and blackheads, this facial starts with an anti-bacterial cleanser and digestive enzyme mask with steam to exfoliate the skin. After a light skin brushing, the skin is prepped for thorough extractions, and our professional detox mask is then applied to unblock follicles and brighten the skin. Blue LED light therapy is quickly absorbed by acne-causing bacteria. Molecules within the bacteria react by producing oxygen free radicals that in turn destroy the P. Acne bacteria. Our Light Therapy treatments can be a stand-alone appointment or paired with a facial. For optimal results with wrinkle and acne reduction, a series of treatments are recommended twice a week for a course of four weeks, followed by a maintenance treatment every one to two months. Each session is 20 to 30 minutes, is effective and pain-free, has no downtime and can be done on a lunch break. This relaxing treatment is akin to lying in the sun (many people fall asleep) and is ideal for pre-wedding prep or before a big event.
